LIBERTY
AUGUST 11, 2013
On Sunday, August 11, 2013, Bikers will gather in Countryside, IL for a 200-mile roundtrip ride from Illinois Harley-Davidson to Milwaukee's Harley-Davidson Museum.
The ride will raise funds for EdgeAlliance's Shawn Feeley Alpha House, a program that provides housing and supportive services for homeless Veterans and their families.
The ride is in honor of Shawn Feeley, a former EdgeAlliance board member who died after complications involving a motorcycle accident. Shawn helped to organize the first annual Ride For Liberty benefitting EdgeAlliance in 2012.
Riders will gather at the Hilltopper statue at the Harley-Davidson Museum for a brief ceremony honoring Shawn and his contributions to EdgeAlliance.
All riders and passengers will be required to sign a waiver prior to ride departure.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Kick Stands Up at 10:00 a.m.
The honorary program will begin at the Hilltopper statue outside the Harley-Davidson Museum at approximately 1:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed! Contact Allen Hailey at ahailey@edgealliance.org or (773) 359-0133 to help register riders, hand out water and sell souvenirs.
If you are unable to participate in the ride, please consider making a donation to EdgeAlliance today.
All funds raised for the Ride For Liberty will support the operations of the Shawn Feeley Alpha House.
